It’s Hard

One of the hardest things to do with an idea, business, organization, etc. is to start. It’s easy to come up with an idea of what you want or want something to be, but the hard part comes when you actually take action. The reason why so few people take action is because it’s a whole lot easier to just say, “I came up with a great idea,” and not do anything with it.

Brooks and I are experiencing this right now. We always have ballin ideas of what we can do or create, but we never go through with any of it. Original Rebel is the first thing that really grabbed a hold of us, and we said, “Let’s do it.” Basically we are going through a lot of struggles. Money, impatience, writing blogs every day, having to put new ideas on the back-burner because we aren’t there yet, writing a business plan. It’s honestly pretty difficult. We are fighting like crazy, confused about what’s next, and all we know is that this is in our hearts and no matter what comes at us, we are going to keep moving forward.

Basically, when you jump into action past the idea stage, it’s hard. Starting things up is a hard thing to do, and anyone who has done it before knows exactly what I’m talking about. The only advice I can give is to keep going. Don’t give up on your ideas. They’re going to kick your butt day in and day out, and all you can do is keep fighting through it. So keep fighting through it!

I really like the Winston Churchill quote from yesterday. “History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.” You have to take action to write history!

WE ARE THE ORIGINAL REBELS
